The petamo photo printer by On-Square Co., Ltd. is a compact, portable wireless device designed to bring printed photos to life. By linking static images to video clips through the free HeyPhoto app for iOS and Android, users can view augmented content simply by scanning the printed photo with their smartphone camera.
Operating via Bluetooth, this inkless printer utilizes ZINK paper technology, which generates full-color prints at a 313 dpi resolution through thermal activation. Because ZINK paper requires no ink cartridges, maintaining the printer is straightforward. The printed photos feature a sticky backing, allowing them to be used as stickers on phone cases, journals, or personal accessories. Weighing 164 grams and measuring 118 x 84 x 20 mm, petamo fits easily in a pocket or bag. Its internal rechargeable battery provides enough power to print up to 20 photos on a single full charge.
Through the HeyPhoto companion app, users can customize their pictures with filters, templates, stamps, and AI collage features prior to printing.
